This was a last minute trip after our ROM. We were wondering where to go! Because we have budget on this trip. Hope not to spent too much ~

We compared flight tickets among AirAsia, Jetstar, Tigerairways, Lionair, Garuda Indonesia, Cathay Pacific, and finally we came out decision – BALI. We bought our flight ticket from JetStar which cost us $266 for 2 pax 2 way. (Already thought that it was cheap, how I know recently 11-15 Nov, Airasia has free seat promotion, VERY CHEAP !!! Going to Bali just cost $56 only for 2 pax 2 way!). Air Asia did a good job right? Because AirAsia meet its objective – Everyone also can FLY!

However, we never feel regret la~ because we also cant predict when the promotion will come right? Somemore I dont think we can keep our honeymoon mood till 2010.

We went to Bali for 5 days 4 nights.
Go->Friday, 06/11/09 – 7.05pm ( Forced to choose this time yo~ because Saturday left evening flight only)
Back -> Tuesday, 10/11/09 – 12.45am ( Hehe, so we can have longer time in Bali)

We were so excited! This was our first trip which we can go together and back together. I remember last time during our HK trip, I was working there, thus my hubby went HK to meet me. Thus, the feeling abit different :P

After I have managed to book the flight ticket, we started to search for accomodation. We decided to stay Kuta (1 night) -> Ubud(2 nights) -> Kuta (1 night).

At Kuta, we stayed at FAT YOGI on 1st and last night ( 26usd per night ).

We did the online booking via agent ->  According to their website, if you booked 2 nights staying at fat yogi, you will get a free pick up from airport to hotel. (Guess and see did they come to pick us up from airport? ). Go and ready my day 1, then you will know!

If you are looking for a more comfortable, good view, more facilities hotel + you willing  to pay more, you can go for Mercure Kuta or Harris Kuta :P. Pay more get more, pay less get less!

For staying at Ubud ( 1 hour journey from Kuta ), I was planning to stay at TEGALSARI hotel but when I called to make for reservation, it was fully booked! This hotel was HOT PICK hotel. You must book the hotel 2 months in advanced.

Bale Gede – Rp 475,000
Greenfield Ubud

I was very satisfied staying in this hotel. It was great! I will post more photos and update more info about Greenfield in my coming post!

After booking the flight and hotel, I quickly sms Jonny (Bali driver) to make the reservation.
His Mobile is +62-817-977-0737. He was quite popular. You can see his photo and the review from :P .

The rate he charged us no longer same as puketoki website. His current rate for full-day is Rp. 300,000; half-day is Rp175,000. If he was fully booked, he will ask his brother to replace him. So, you must make sure is it he will be your driver.

After that, I also called to Verona Spa to make the reservation for 2 hours massage and spa – Rp150,000. Must book in advance! Else also will be fully booked especially during weekend.
