4th Destination – Kedah 吉打( Ching Ye, Wei Seng, Chek Kai, Sheau Ling’s hometown )
Our friends drove us to Kedah town have a walk and have a lunch at 一乐茶坊 .
Then, Wei Seng ’s is so effective because he can immediately prepare 6 motorbikes for us! We rode motorbike to most of the places. One of the places is Gunung Jerai. The mountain is about 1300 meters above sea levels. The weather is cool and nice. You can view paddy fields in the plains of Kedah from the top of Gunung Jerai!
Besides Gunung Jerai, we also rides motorbike to seaside….the seaside is so far away from Gunung Jerai, if not mistaken, we took around 1 hr only reach seaside. At first we planned to reach there around 6 pm to capture the sunset view! Unfortunately, when we reached there, the sky turn into dark loo~ So upset..and worse come to worse, it is raining heavily and there is no light on the road!!!
It is really a dangerous night.. Luckily we can reach home safety!
It is so tired but full of fun

After 5 hours journey from Sekinchan….
Finally………
2nd destination – Tanjung Piandang (Pei Shu’s hometown)
TP is a small fishing village located on the the coast of Kerian district, northwest Perak, Malaysia. TP in chinese called 角头 (Jiao Tou @ Kak Tao). One thing I noticed in TP – See photo below
. TP’s paddy fields is grown with coconut tree and others plant whereas Sekinchan’s paddy field is just Paddy ( Paddy connect Sky ), Both different Right?
After that we drove car ( 2 cars ) from TP to Penang……To be Continued
On 2003, there was a memorable trip for me. 2 of my college friends ( Sang & HH ) and me started the journey from KL -> Sekinchan -> Tanjung Piandang -> Penang -> Kedah -> KL for 6 days 5 nights.
We spent only about RM200++ for the whole trip
Because our other college friends waiting us at their hometown. They have prepared everything for us – transport, accomodation, meal for us ( Sincerely thanks to their parents who have cooked for us before! )
1st Station – Sekinchan ( Meei Fang’s Hometown )
We took around an hour to reach Sekinchan from KL. Sekinchan is a small town located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The first impression of Sekinchan is “There is alot of paddy fields~ just like sea ????! I really love the view so much! It was so beautiful ” . Sekinchan has divided to A ?, B?, C? . If not mistaken, fang stayed at A ?. According to Fang, Sekinchan is the one of the major rice producing areas in Malaysia.

After stayed in Sekinchan a night, we took bus ( 5 hours! ) towards next destination – Tanjung Piandang. Within these 5 hours, really a bad experience for us !! The bus drove so fast and the bus so dirty~ ~ To be continued…
