My friend has just back from Star Pisces Cruise. He just pay RM30 for 1 night star pisces ex-Penang cruise (included 1 buffet meal).Quite Cheap right? Actually, the exact price is around RM60 + RM30 but he used Genting world card point 10 GP points to waive the RM60. However, he earned back 8 GP points after spending whole night at casino. Still worth :)

In Singapore, there were 3 Nature Reserves :
1. Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

Parks found within the Nature Reserves :
1. Hindhede Nature Park
2. MacRitchie Reservoir Park

Do you see the map below? We have just covered one of the park under Bukit Timah Nature Reserve which is MacRitchie Reservoir Park.
MacRitchie-Reservoir-Park-map

Let’s explore to MacRitchie Reservoir Park! Looked at the map, it was quite a big park!

Spillway – a channel for an overflow of water from the reservoir. MacRitchie spillway is constructed in 1984.

If you are hungry or thirsty, no worry. There is a restaurant near by the main entrance.

Such a peaceful and big lake…

Some people come here for photo shooting…

Some people come her for jogging and walking… Actually this place called Dam (水坝). Dam is a barrier built across a stream to contain the water. MacRitchie Dam is a earth dam first constructed in 1867 and later relocated and rebuilt at its present location in 1984

See, such a nice place for you to rest and relax.

Do you see there’s a girl doing Yoga there.

Sunset at MacRitchie Reservoir Park.

Draw-off tower. It draws water from the reservoir and send its to the pumping station downstream.

See, I can even touch the tower! Hehe :P

There is a sign board which show you about the details of draw-off tower, dam, pumping station and spillway. I also know the history and the story from here.

We reached MacRitchie Reservoir Park.

Beside the MatRitchie Reservoir Park, you also can go to paddle lodge, fishing ground, lornie trail and fitness station.

So many people enjoying the nice view here.

Reached MacRitchie Fitness Park.

Actually the purpose we come to this place is to look for the suspension bridge (HSBC Tree Top Walk). But we still unable to find it. Oh… after we saw this map, only we realized that. It was far away. I think will need 1.5 hour only can reach.

Do you see my hubby pointed location .This is the place – HSBC Tree Top Walk) we want to go. Sweat =.=”’

However, the HSBC Tree Top Walk closed at 5.00pm. It was too late also X_X Nvm, we come next time and job to that place.

Opening Hours
Tues to Friday : 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sat, Sun and PH : 8:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Closed on Monday except Public Holiday

Another part of lake.

We walked to a higher place. A lot people dating here yo…

Recall back to my pass memory in year 2008, we went to Colmar Tropicale (法国村) at Bukit Tinggi. We stayed at Colmar Tropicale – A French Themed Resort.

We reached there around 6pm. Thus, we checked in our room first.

Then, we went for dinner at La Cigogne restaurant! This is our first time to have an authentic French fine dining. Very romantic oh :P

We took around 2 hours to finish this dinner! Such a long hour dinner x_X…I was wonder is this French style? Hehe ^^ Let’s me tell you how our dinner was served. First, we were serving 2 glasses of plain water… *We didnt drink wine that time :P *

Yeah, our food was served… Er, Just like this??? Salad

And Bread…

After waiting for another 30 mins, the waiter asked us whether want to eat dessert first… Er…We just say Yes! Because we were so hungry. Deng Deng… Our dessert! So nice decorate. A jelly with aiskrim on top! Yummy! Yummy!

After waiting for 30 minutes again. Our main course was finally served!
