So sorry to both, I have adjusted my camera setting to wrong mode. Thus, the photo outcome looked like this


Feel abit eyepain on seeing this color of photo.


The lady served us the “Yusheng”. She proceeded to add ingredients such as the fish, the crackers and the sauces while saying “auspicious wishes” (吉祥话 or Jíxiáng Huà) as each ingredient is added, typically related to the specific ingredient being added.


Yusheng , yee sang or yuu sahng (simplified Chinese: 鱼生; pinyin: yúshēng), also known as lo hei (Cantonese for 撈起 or 捞起) is a Teochew-style raw fish salad. It usually consists of strips of raw fish (most commonly salmon), mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. Yusheng literally means “raw fish” but since “fish (鱼)” is commonly conflated with its homophone “abundance (余)”, Yúshēng (鱼生) is interpreted as a homophone for Yúshēng (余升) meaning an increase in abundance. Therefore, yusheng is considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor.

We are preparing to “Loh Sang” la ~ “Loh Sang” mean act of tossing. All of us will toss the Yusheng into the air with chopsticks while saying various “auspicious wishes” out loud. Eg. Loh ar Loh ar Loh ar Loh for money, loh for promoted, loh for increment ya ~


It is believed that the height of the toss reflects the height of the diner’s growth in fortunes, thus diners are expected to toss enthusiastically. [source] .So, can you see who toss the highest one. I guess so is Sebastien!

Luckily the person who help us take photo has experienced on using Canon camera. He said that I have set the camera to wrong mode. Thus, he helped me to adjust back to Tungsten mode. After set, the camera outcome looked like this. Do you feel the difference?


We are the first table starting for the Loh Sang. Next, will be table #2. Catherine said waiting for another person coming.

Never try never have chance. Good luck to everyone who bought the TOTO. Same to me and my colleagues because we have shared $10 each person. These are our lucky number – 17,20,14,26,27,28,1,2,3,4 !!!!! We just finished Loh Sang + Loh Hei, so sure got abit power to HUAT ar ^^ !

通常大年初二，出嫁的女儿会带着丈夫和孩子们回娘家。。
因为我们长大了，所以我们带着妈妈回他的娘家。。

Today is the day for my parent to visit their parent, siblings, cousin, and relatives. Our first station will be my Father’s sister’s house! My small aunty 小姑 which located at Sungai Besar 大港. We reached there around 11am. We were served with “Bak Kut Teh” which cooked by my small aunty! Yummy and delicious ~

Our next station – Teluk Intan. This time is to visit my uncle 大伯. During the way to Teluk Intan…Amber join our car! She said Ah gong driving skill just perfect! And wont feel dizzy~ A message to her father and mother “your daughter prefer Toyota Corolla than Toyota Altis” Haha!

We reached Nibong Tebal – Grandmother house around 9 pm. Grandmother quickly cooked porridge for us! Her porridge very nice. Thank you “Ah Ma”. Really love you Because it was too late and everyone is so tired already. So, no photo session Camera need to rest also ^^
