Vaude 40 Tour Backpack
Which backpack to buy and where to buy? After few weeks searching and trying.Finally we got our first backpack – Vaude Tour 40. We bought it during Bugis BHG sales on 04 Jun 2010. The original price was $253 and we got a 30% discount which mean we need to pay $177.10 ( If not mistaken lar ~ ).
The sales assistant told us that this Vaude brand was from German. It gave 3 years warranty also. We found that this German rucksack bag fits us very well. It looked slim and the weight is light! Besides that, it has loops for my trekking poles. It has a lower compartment for my shoe, sleeping bag, etc. Last but not least. It came with a rain cover too.
A well designed frame is to keep the pack off your back and letting air flow under it. It provides better ventilation to reduce back sweat! This design suits my hubby as he always sweat! LOL.
The hip belt can help distribute weight.
