Big Carnival@Marina Bay Celebrates the Opening of the Waterfront Promenade and Marina Bay City Gallery!

The vision for Marina Bay is taking shape and to commemorate the completion of the key developments and the new waterfront promenade, come join us at the Big Carnival@Marina Bay for a weekend of fun with family and friends.


Fuel your little ones’ imagination through kite-making and art. Or roll up your own sleeves and join them to build sand castles. For the adventurous, roll about in giant Zorb balls or ride on the Segway. And for the more competitive, there’re prizes to be won if you complete a series of fun activities.

Street entertainers, energetic performances and the chance to explore the new waterfront promenade complete this world of experiences as Marina Bay comes to life. Everyone’s invited!

Movies-under-the-Stars (17 July, 8.15pm)
Watch ‘Avatar’ at the first ever movie screening at The Promontory@Marina Bay. No tickets needed, just bring your picnic mat and a mindset to have fun!

The New Paper Big Walk@Marina Bay (18 July, 7.30am flag off)
Join more than 20,000 participants as they walk along the newly completed Marina Bay waterfront promenade.

Cosplay Showdown & E-gaming Concert by Singapore Cyber Online Gaming Association
(18 July, 6.00pm & 7.30pm)
Catch unforgettable characters from your favourite anime and movies, and experience the music from some of the most popular console and computer games performed “live” by the NUS Wind Symphony. Admission is free.
