Let’s explore to MacRitchie Reservoir Park! Looked at the map, it was quite a big park!

Spillway – a channel for an overflow of water from the reservoir. MacRitchie spillway is constructed in 1984.

If you are hungry or thirsty, no worry. There is a restaurant near by the main entrance.

Such a peaceful and big lake…

Some people come here for photo shooting…

Some people come her for jogging and walking… Actually this place called Dam (水坝). Dam is a barrier built across a stream to contain the water. MacRitchie Dam is a earth dam first constructed in 1867 and later relocated and rebuilt at its present location in 1984

See, such a nice place for you to rest and relax.

Do you see there’s a girl doing Yoga there.

Sunset at MacRitchie Reservoir Park.

Draw-off tower. It draws water from the reservoir and send its to the pumping station downstream.

See, I can even touch the tower! Hehe :P

There is a sign board which show you about the details of draw-off tower, dam, pumping station and spillway. I also know the history and the story from here.

We reached MacRitchie Reservoir Park.

Beside the MatRitchie Reservoir Park, you also can go to paddle lodge, fishing ground, lornie trail and fitness station.

So many people enjoying the nice view here.

Reached MacRitchie Fitness Park.

Actually the purpose we come to this place is to look for the suspension bridge (HSBC Tree Top Walk). But we still unable to find it. Oh… after we saw this map, only we realized that. It was far away. I think will need 1.5 hour only can reach.
