Bali, Indonesia Trip 2009 Day 2
Our Day 2 Itenary was Western Tour : Kuta -> Legian -> Seminyak -> Kerobakan-> Munggu -> Tanah Lot -> Mengwi (Taman Ayun ) -> Bandar Pacung (Lunch at Saranam Eco Resort Cafe) -> Bedugul ( Pura Unun Danu @ Lake Brata ) -> Taman Botanic -> Candi Kuning Market -> Strawberry Farm -> Strawberry Shop -> Git Git Waterfall -> Ubud (Spa & Massage at Verona Spa->Dinner at Bebek Bengil Restaurant, Hang around Ubud Centre)

Journey started around 930am. From Kuta, we passed by Legian, Seminyak and Kerobakan
In car…
Then we saw a very nice paddy field. Thus, we asked driver to stop a while for us to take photo 
. We asked driver where is it. He told us this place called Munggu.
The paddy field nice right? Too bad our skill not good enough. So only can shot the photo with this quality 
. Will try to improve more
We reached Tanah Lot . Entrance fees Rp10,000 per pax.

For balinese, this was called “dragon”
The temple was so unique. It was set on a small island about 100m off the coast.
Can I walk to opposite there? Ya, you can if the water level not increase. When we reached there the water level already increase. So, they closed already.
Be my model for my hubby, let him practice his photo shooting skill . Because of me, he were forced to treat this as his hobby
After 1 hour, we continued our journey to Taman Ayun, Mengwi. Entrance fees Rp3,000 per pax.
What’s this? According to Balinese, this was their god “safety guard”

To enter a temple, you need to go through so many doors . This was second door

Finally have a couple photo . THe weather was so hot! We were so lazy to set up the tripod.
Is time to go for lunch! We proceeded to Bandar Pacung and having lunch at Saranam Eco Resort. The driver suggested you to go for buffet lunch which only cost Rp50,000 per pax. But I want to try Babi Kecap, so I choose to pay more and having lunch at Saranam Eco Resort. Both restaurant also can see beautiful rice terrace view.
We ordered Babi Kecap Rp50,000, Nasi Goreng Ham Rp35,000, Java Tea Rp9,5000 and Fruit Juice Honey Dew Rp15,000 + 10% Tax. So, Total is Rp132,495 ( Around $19, cheap? I feel worth because food was nice meanwhile you can enjoy the cool weather and nice view).

After a while… I got so many strawberries! How much need to pay? There was no fixed price! Depend on you bargain power! *Can you see the sky behind me…So dark =.=”’ Hope so dont rain first!*

Oh no! Raining again… We quickly went into our car and continued our journey! And we were so lucky again. The rain was stop when we reached Pura Unun Danu @ Lake Brate! Entrance fees Rp10,000 per pax.

According to the driver, botanic garden was big. If walked need around 2 hours else you may need a car to go around, but need to pay for it. Due to lack of time also, so we skip this and also candi kuning market. If you wish to buy fresh fruit, wild orchids,lilies and tropical vegetables. You can ask your driver to stop by a while.
Actually I have booked an appointment for spa and massage at 4pm. I am not sure they still reserve for me or not because I will reach Ubud around 6 pm. When I arrived Ubud, I asked hotel receptionist help me to call Verona Spa. Unfortunately, they cancelled my booking and also the room was occupied by others people already 
. Nvm, I still got make reservation for tomorrow. Hope so I wont be late
Git git waterfall is a place which the waterfall surrounded by lush vegetation. We found this place during our day 3 trip! So it was different route to go there on day 3 . Although I unable to visit the Git Git waterfall, but I still put under day 2 itenary for your reference.

Our Room! Nice! According to the room picture I show in previous blog, I didnt expect so nice. Now I feel Rp475,000 is worth for it It was really like my honeymoon Room! Tomorrow morning, first thing we will see was green paddy field! Great~ Ubud really a place for relaxation

Lazy Sofa
While taking photo of our room. Suddenly!!! BlackOut…Whole room become dark X_X. What happened??? Then we called receptionist. They told us whole UBUD no electric =.=”’. What??? Then how? When will have electric? Receptionist told us that Bali not enough electric. So each area will take turn shut down the electric. We were very unlucky then but what to do, they only can provide candle for us X_X.
By the way, is dinner time, so we went to Bebek Bengil Restaurant which is very popular of crispy duck. Luckily bebek bengil got some backup electric ( electric generator ). Very hungry, ordered food first.

Dessert – The Original Sin Devil Dark Food Cake Rp35,000
Nice meal Total around Rp241,000 ( around $35) around $ after tax.
If you went during lunch time, you would see the nice paddy field view. Restaurant was big and alot different kind of seat. Environment was nice.
After finished our dinner only 9 pm. We thought to go Ubud centre has a walk. The hotel has provided free transport go and back from Ubud centre. But, whole Ubud no electric, most of the shop and restaurant no backup electric already closed shop
Go back room no electric at all, cant take bath, cant sleep . What can we do? So, we just went to a restaurant beside our hotel – Warung Enak. Luckily they have Wi-fi. So we can online surf net
We have ordered Ice Lemon Tea Rp18,500 and Orange Juice Rp25,000. Total cost us Rp51,439 after tax. Quite costly.
This restaurant’s design quite unique.
Wait until 11pm, finally the electric back!!! Thanks god~ We faster go back our room. Although tired, but wont forget to take the final pic of our room .
Then we quickly take a nice bath and go for bed SLEEP! Today really a tiring day but quite a memorable ^^. Hope so tomorrow wont happen out of electric at UBUD. We want to enjoyed our dinner at our room
