Ginkgo nuts with longan Tong Sui

Ginkgo nuts with longan tong sui 白果龙眼糖水

Ingredients :  Dried longan, Ginkgo nuts (白果), Snow fungus(雪耳 @白木耳),rock sugar(冰糖), pear

Method : 
1.  Soak the snow fungus until soft, cut off the yellow part of the snow fungus.

2.  Peel out the shell of the ginkgo nuts.

3. Take out the seeds from ginkgo nuts.

4. Rinse all the ingredients to wash.
5. Bring water to boil. Add Ginkgo nuts , Snow fungus, pear into the pot and let it simmer in low heat for 45 minutes- 1 hour.
6. Add  the dried longan after 30 minutes cook. Do not cook longan more than 30 minutes else it will lose the sweetness.
6. Add rock sugar to taste. Serve it  with ice cubes if you wish to drink cold dessert :P
